That's where we come in!  Our colour and space consultant can help you navigate the complexities of the design process, from selecting the right colours and finishes to choosing the perfect layout for your space.


At Wheeler & Blake we understand that the design process can be complex and overwhelming. That's why we've broken it down into a step-by-step process that makes it easy for you to understand what we do and how we do it.

SPACE CONSULTATION

Founder & CEO

We begin our design process with an in-depth analysis of the space, taking into account its size, shape, layout, and existing features. We also take the time to get to know you and your goals for the space, including any specific functional requirements or design preferences.

Once we have a clear understanding of the space and your needs, we work to develop a design concept that maximizes the space's potential. This may involve reconfiguring the layout, optimizing storage, or incorporating multi-functional elements that serve multiple purposes.

You will receive a pdf of points discussed in the consultation.

Price:

Decorating clients: For clients who choose to use us for their painting & decorating projects, we charge a reduced rate of £125 per hour consultation. Subsequent hours (for larger spaces) are also charged at £125. 

 

Non-decorating clients: We charge £180 for the initial consultation which lasts approximately an hour, with subsequent hours charged at £180 per hour.

COLOUR CONSULTATION

We understand that choosing the right colour can be overwhelming. From your walls to woodwork through to ceilings and joinery, there’s a lot to specify and we’re here to help. We'll work with you to identify key colours that you're drawn to, and use these as a starting point for developing a colour palette that feels cohesive and harmonious.

The consultation is an hour long, during which our design consultant will walk through your space with you and make suggestions and decisions on your palette, using a variety of colour cards.

​

You will discuss important factors that will impact the colour choices such as preferred use of space, natural and artificial lighting, soft furnishings, the atmosphere you’d like to create and any inspiration you might already have, in order to ensure that the suggestions are well-considered and cater to your needs.

You will then receive a PDF detailing the colours and finishes specified per room.

 

Price:

DECLUTTER & ORGANISATION

Founder & CEO

We believe that a clutter-free home is not only more visually appealing, but also more functional and relaxing. We work with you to determine which items should be displayed and which should be tucked away so that we can create a space that is both beautiful and practical.

 

We'll help you decide what to donate, recycle, or simply store out of sight and come up with clever storage solutions so that your space feels more streamlined and organised

You will receive a pdf of points discussed in the consultation and you also have the option of taking on our expert organisers to help you make it happen.

Price:

Decorating clients: For clients who choose to use us for their painting & decorating projects, we charge a reduced rate of £125 per hour consultation. Subsequent hours used to organise the space are charged at £30 per hour.

 

Non-decorating clients: We charge £180 for the initial consultation which lasts approximately an hour, with subsequent hours used to organise the space charged at £35 per hour. 

FURNITURE

Founder & CEO

We understand that you may already have some furniture pieces that hold sentimental value or may simply want to keep them for practical reasons. That's why we can work with your existing furniture and incorporate accent pieces to give the space a fresh new look.

 

We can upcycle your existing furniture with our top of the range spraying machinery or we advise you on how to make the most out of your existing furniture by rearranging it to improve the overall flow of the room. Whether you want to add a statement piece or simply need a new coffee table, we are here to help you find the perfect balance between style and functionality.

This is where you can bring in those finishing touches to really bring the room to life and showcase your personality.
