Our Story
Founder & CEO
Wheeler and Blake is a painting and decorating company based in Windsor. It was established in 2012 in London by Alex Blake and Chris Wheeler. The two fine art graduates wanted to challenge the status quo of the painting and decorating industry, offering a creative and professional approach.
WB is now run by Alex and his partner Abbie. It was clear to the couple that there was a need to better the industry for consumers and professionals alike, and so with Abbie having a degree in Textile Design and working as a creative, textile designer in the corporate fashion industry for 15 years, and Alex being a highly skilled painter and decorator as well as artist, the couple decided to combine their skills and use their combined skills to offer the customer a unique and thorough experience.
As a designer at Burberry for over 10 years as well as having previously worked with top fashion houses, and suppliers in Europe, Abbie’s corporate and creative background has enabled her to build invaluable consumer and trade relationships, project manage, and offer expert advice on design and colour. Alex, has a degree in Fine Art Painting and years of experience in the industry. This combination of knowledge and expertise allows us to offer expert painting and decorating skills, using innovative machinery and techniques. With Wheeler and Blake, you can be sure that your space will be transformed into something truly special. Together they have built up a trusted multi-disciplinary team.

We have a small network of trusted trade partners who we manage, so that you can sit back and relax knowing your project is all under control.
